As a Tennessee and North Carolina wedding and elopement photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing countless love stories in breathtaking locations. However, one place holds a special spot in my heart for its unmatched beauty and tranquility: Roan Mountain.
If you are looking for a place to elope in North Carolina or Tennessee this is one of my all time favorites. But THIS TIME it wasn’t an elopement that brought me to the Tennessee Highlands…
It was a vow renewal.
A vow renewal goes even further than the celebration of a marriage anniversary; it is an opportunity for a couple to reaffirm their love and commitment. AND it allows them to reflect on their journey together, appreciate the obstacles they have overcome, and embrace the growth they have experienced as a couple.

The Significance of a Vow Renewal: Life moves fast, so it’s easy to lose sight of the promises made to on our wedding days. Most of my wedding couples tell me they barely remember much of their day because of how rush and packed it was! (which is fair)
