They met as teenagers at 16 and 17 years old, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. “Being with each other truly feels like we’re two halves of the same soul meeting again,” Krystal told me. “We’ve often vowed to each other that no matter how many lives we live, we will find each other again and again.”

It’s clear they balance each other perfectly—Krystal lifting Michael up when he needs it, and Michael grounding her when life feels overwhelming.
Michael proposed last autumn under a golden forest canopy in South Carolina, and since then, they’ve been planning the next chapter of their lives together. For them, eloping in nature feels like the ultimate gift, a culmination of their patience and love.
