I had the absolute joy of capturing Adeline and Matthew’s wedding at the beautiful Barn at High Point Farms near Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you haven’t heard of this venue, it’s a charming, rustic gem nestled in the countryside, perfect for an intimate and cozy celebration. AND it’s also a flower farm that provides you with all the flowers you can have for your wedding.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love and warmth radiating from this special place. The Barn at High Point Farms is more than just a wedding venue—it’s a working farm with the cutest animals you can imagine. Goats, chickens, and even a couple of friendly barn cats added an extra touch of magic to the day. The animals were such a hit with the guests, especially the little ones, and made for some incredibly adorable photo ops!
Adeline and Matthew are one of those couples who make you believe in love at first sight. Their connection was palpable, and capturing their special day felt like photographing a fairytale. They decided to do a “first look” before the ceremony, and let me tell you, it was one of the most emotional moments I’ve ever photographed.
We found a secluded spot under a canopy of trees, with the sun peeking through just right. As Matthew stood there, waiting to see his bride for the first time, you could see the anticipation building. When Adeline tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around, the look on his face was priceless. There were tears, laughter, and so much love in that moment—it felt like time stood still. As a photographer, these are the moments you live for.
The ceremony was held outside, with the farm’s rolling hills and lush greenery as the backdrop. It was intimate, with just close family and friends gathered around, making it feel incredibly personal and heartfelt. The Barn at High Point Farms truly excels at creating a cozy, homey atmosphere that makes everyone feel at ease.
They exchanged heartfelt vows, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. The reception was equally charming, with rustic decor, twinkling fairy lights, and farm-fresh food that everyone raved about. The dance floor was set up inside the barn, and watching everyone dance and celebrate under the wooden beams and chandeliers was a sight to behold.
One of my favorite parts of the day was sneaking the couple away for some photos late run the day. The farm’s expansive fields provided a breathtaking backdrop as the mountains towered in the moody sky.
The Barn at High Point Farms is truly a special place for a wedding. It offers a unique blend of rustic charm and natural beauty that’s hard to find. Adeline and Matthew’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love—simple, beautiful, and full of joy. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their day and to have captured these memories for them.
If you’re looking for a cozy, intimate venue with a touch of farm charm, I can’t recommend The Barn at High Point Farms enough. And if you need a photographer to capture your love story, you know where to find me!
